Stef Lauer, St Kilda Work Party Leader for the National Trust for Scotland 2017!
I'm delighted to say that I've been selected to take a group of 10 conservation volunteers to the remote archipelago of St Kilda, some 60 miles west of the Outer Hebrides.
Our work party will be doing vital conservation work on our 2 weeks stint including restoration of some of the stone huts which were used for storage, painting, maintenance and building work.
St Kilda is a double world heritage site and holds a special for many island enthusiasts. For further information about St Kilda please visit here.
It's a privilege to go back to St Kilda and spend time on these magical islands.
