In May/June 2019 I delivered a 5 days training course for the South Ayrshire & Galloway Biosphere Project. 10 local people signed up to diversify what they were already doing or start up their own tourism business. Those were very inspiring days with lots of content from Leave No Trace to Cultural Interpretation, peer-to-peer learning and plenty of practical opportunity to test the new things learnt - all in the stunning setting of Dumfries & Galloway.
Here a couple of testimonials...
Stef ran a Guide Training course for the Galloway and Southern Ayrshire UNESCO Biosphere in the early summer of 2019. The course was co developed to ensure it met our Biosphere needs whilst still providing the skills required to develop a viable and sustainable tourism offering for freelance guides. Stef was very accommodating bringing her knowledge, expertise and humour to ensure that the attendees were left enthused and positive about turning thier knowledge and enthusiasm into new business opportunities as Biosphere Guides. We look forward to inviting Stef back in the future to train up a fresh intake of Biosphere Guides and would have no hesitation in recommending her to others.

I recently attended the Biosphere Experiences Guide Training Course in South West Scotland, which Stef delivered with rigour and aplomb.
She ensured everyone was aware of the learning objectives, and covered each topic effectively and comprehensively.
Stef's positive attitude, professional approach and wonderful sense of humour made it an absolute pleasure to be there, and I left feeling inspired, encouraged, and confident enough to move on to the next level. I wouldn't hesitate in recommending her.
