I was delighted to be delivering a customised guest lecture for 3rd year students of the School of Adventures at the University of the Highlands & Islands in Fort William. The subject was on "Customer Care in the Adventure Tourism".
The workshop was focused on customer skills relevant to the outdoor industry with lots of hands-on practical tasks. The students were left knowing more about potential clientele and how to work with them and for them, the different stages of the customer journey and were able to discuss the impact of social media on the industry... and then some.
And here some comments from attending students:
"Stef set clear goals and it was easy to follow.
It was very engaging.
Good balance between information and engaging tasks. Stef kept it interesting.
The constant interaction kept good momentum.
Very good, well delivered."
Thank you - I'm sure we'll see each other again.
